The word was never broker. It's builder.

Every three or four years, a bigger build. Every build compounds on the last. Business, community, and culture, treated as one thing, not three.

MY STORY

Eighteen years of building, chapter by chapter.

  1. 2007
    2007

    The apprenticeship

    Four and a half years under Dr. Soler at the Multicultural Entrepreneurship Institute in Milwaukee: helping teach night classes to Latino entrepreneurs, running marketing for Latino small businesses, coordinating the Cesar Chavez Business Improvement District. Business, community, and culture fused into one operating system. I never unlearned it.

  2. 2009
    2009

    The first company, at 18

    A design and promotions studio at the height of the reggaetón era. I built a 25,000-member music community, ran digital for artists like Héctor "El Father" and Ñengo Flow, and promoted shows across Milwaukee. Shipping for a real audience before I could rent a car.

  3. 2012
    2012

    The systems years

    Led the migration of eleven eCommerce storefronts onto one platform, end to end: data, catalogs, images, search. The project that proved I could own a system from first byte to launch.

  4. 2013
    2013

    The festival

    Co-founded the Puerto Rican Festival of Wisconsin: the flag, the music, and the food of la isla on a Milwaukee stage. Community as infrastructure, not an afterthought.

  5. 2017
    2017

    The franchise chapter

    CEO and broker/owner of a NextHome franchise, recognized by corporate as a top office both years. Scaled it from Milwaukee into Florida and joined the founding team of NextMortgage. I learned the franchise model from the inside, so I could leave it on purpose.

  6. 2019
    2019

    reThought

    In December 2019 I founded reThought Real Estate: bilingual, boutique, built from zero on systems and culture. One of the few Latino-owned brokerages in Wisconsin.

    2021

    The chapter I owed Milwaukee

    Founded NAHREP Milwaukee and led it as founding president. In its first year, the chapter won NAHREP's national Rookie Chapter of the Year.

    Two states, one desk

    Broker in Wisconsin and Florida, national NAHREP board member, still building my own tools, still answering my own phone. I run this the way I'd want it run for my own family. En inglés o en español.

From start to finish, he was professional, communicative, and easy to collaborate with. reThought Real Estate, a boutique brokerage he founded in 2019 with offices in Central Florida and metro Milwaukee. It is deliberately small: agents get weekly one-on-one time with the broker, systems that are already built, and bilingual marketing, instead of being one name on a large roster.

More than a decade. He started in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he learned the business working with families block by block, and founded reThought Real Estate in 2019.
