First Step The Pre Approval

This process involves meeting with a loan officer, reviewing your credit files, and determining a certain loan amount through one or more specific mortgage programs. As a result, the lender will issue a pre-approval letter, indicating the amount you are able to borrow.

Second Step Hire a Buyer’s Agent

First and foremost, as a Buyer’s Agent – I work for you! I’m here to help you navigate the complex process of making an offer, negotiating with the seller’s agent, and closing the deal. Additionally, I help you understand the local real estate laws and regulations, and can provide you valuable advice on home inspections, property taxes, and financing options. When hiring an agent is important that you also choose someone with proven knowledge and experience.

Third Step House Hunting

Think about what you want and need in a home, and make a list of your must-haves and nice-to-haves. It is important to know ahead of time. This is the time to look at different neighborhoods and areas to find the best fit for you. The following are terms you should know while searching:

Fourth Step The Offer

Once you make the decision to buy a particular house as the prospective buyer, you must sign a WB11 Residential Offer to Purchase, Lead Based Paint Disclosure (Addendum S), Seller Real Estate Condition Report, and possibly other Addendums. These are extremely important documents. Nevertheless, there are contingencies that protect you and these should be discussed with your agent:

Fifth Step The Closing

The closing is the final step in the process of buying or selling a property. During this last step, the buyer and seller meet with a representative from the title company, who will facilitate the transfer of ownership and ensure that all necessary paperwork is signed and any outstanding debts or liens on the property are paid. The buyer will also typically pay any remaining closing costs and the down payment for the property. Congratulations, you get your keys after that!
